Focus Buddy (“we”, “the app”) is a productivity app that helps you track habits, tasks, and focus sessions.
Focus Buddy keeps your name, habits, tasks, focus history, reminders, language, and session lengths on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage. This data stays on your device unless you choose to share it, restore a backup, or reset the app.
If you allow notifications, we schedule local alerts for completed focus or break sessions and optional daily habit reminders. These notifications are created on your device and are not sent to our servers.
Premium purchases are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous App Store purchase status so we can unlock Focus Buddy Pro. We do not receive your full payment card details.
If you use Daily Coach, the goals and tasks you type are sent through Supabase to OpenAI, our AI provider, to generate a focus plan. Supabase hosts the private proxy and OpenAI processes the request to return the result; Focus Buddy does not use this content for advertising or sell it. Do not include passwords, health details, or other sensitive information in your goals. Generated plans are stored on your device.
Our website records daily aggregate page views and App Store link clicks in a Cloudflare database. Counts are grouped by page path, a broad referral category, and event type. We do not use cookies or store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, full referrer URLs, or personal information in this database. Counts are estimates, not a measure of unique visitors or confirmed installs.
Focus Buddy does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs to follow you across other apps. We do not sell your personal information.
Focus Buddy is not directed at children under 13.
You can turn reminders off in Settings, change language, or delete habits and tasks in the app. Reset All Data permanently removes locally stored Focus Buddy data on this device.
